X10 remote-controlled, on/off switch allows you to turn your Ideal-Lume bias light on and off via a supplied RF remote control. Will not send or receive X10-protocol signals between compatible devices through surge protectors. This device must be plugged directly to house current via wall outlet or extension cord if X10 command send/receive is desired. This switch will operate on its own if plugged into a surge protector.
Smart Strip Current Sensing Switched Outlet Surge Device $39.95
This product allows users of Ideal-Lume bias lighting to have their light come on automatically every time the TV is turned on. It can also be operated by connecting it to any other electronic device instead of the TV. The power strip includes 7 outlets. One outlet is used by the controlling device. Two outlets are always hot. Four outlets are turned on and off automatically when the controlling device is turned on. It includes 1225 joules of surge protection, a 6 foot grounded power cord with a low profile space-saving plug, and up to 30 dB of line noise reduction. It also includes coax jack protection. Compatible with all antenna, cable and satellite systems and a 4 foot RG-6 cable. We have included a special plug adapter for use behind wall mounted flat TV's where space behind the TV is very restricted. This adapter uses a 90 degree rotating flat plug on one end and a grounded outlet on the other end of a one foot cord.

Infra-Red/X10 Command Center $43.95
This device converts infra-red commands to X10-type powerline control signals. This allows home automation style control of lights and appliances with a learning-type IR remote control. We offer this item to allow on/off control of our Ideal-Lume fluorescent models from across the room in a home theater, using many of the popular IR learning remotes our customers already own. We also offer an optional pre-programmed remote that has the X10-compatible IR codes already in it. Codes can be taught from this inexpensive remote to any learning-type remote. X10-compatible codes can also be downloaded from www.remotecentral.com into computer-connectable learning remotes such as the Philips Pronto, etc. X10 modules are required for each device you want to operate on the system. This console plugs into a standard electric outlet where it can receive the IR signals from your home theater remote. It will control up to eight X10 modules for on/off switching of appliances and fluorescent lights or dimming of incandescent lights.

This product is needed when operation is desired while integrated with other X10 control devices, such as our Command Center for infrared commands, or with other types of X10 controllers. Control of this outlet requires either an X10 RF remote controller or an Infra-Red X10 Command Center to communicate with the switched outlet.

Custom Lutron Spacer Infrared On/Off Switch Module $179.95
This Lutron switch module is specifically designed for control of fluorescent ballasts. It provides reliable infrared on/off control of all Ideal-Lume fluorescent models. Our product interfaces easily with existing Lutron Spacer room lighting control systems or can be used alone. The optional Lutron IR handheld remote can be used or its IR codes can be programmed into learning-type universal remotes. Its IR codes can also be downloaded from www.remotecentral.com by computer programmable remotes such as the Philips Pronto, RTI, Home Theater Master, etc. Our module can be used to control multiple fluorescent fixtures, up to a 6 amp total load. It's designed so that the module's grounded cord is plugged into any grounded power outlet or surge protector. The Ideal-Lume is then plugged into the module's female connector. There is 10 feet of male power cord and 4 feet of female connector cord provided to allow for a wide variety of placement options. Placement options must locate the module for line of sight exposure to IR signals or out of sight usage with IR linking devices by Xantech, Niles, Russound, etc.
